Despite their reputation aerobars don't have to be uncomfortable -- if you're serious about racing a time trial or triathlon you should have a set. Profile Design's Carbon Aerobar Extensions give you plenty of ways to customize fit so that you're not worried about your hands falling asleep while you're racing and the series is made up of five models all made with vibration-minimizing carbon so you have room to find the right fit. They're easy to clip onto a road bike to get it race-ready just don't forget to adjust your bike fit after you put them on. If you've spent too much time in overly aggressive aerobars or are hesitantly trying your first set the T1+ and T3+ were both designed with comfort in mind. By putting your hands and wrists in a neutral position they have a more natural feel and provide a variety of options for hand positioning. The T3+ is slightly heavier and the most neutral of the two.The T2+ T4+ and T5+ all feature a more aerodynamic-oriented design with the T2+ using an S-Bend shape and the T4+ and T5+ using a shallow ski-bend shape. While a ski-bend shape is more aerodynamic the S-Bend provides more variety of hand placement positions and the T2+ includes a 30mm rise to help with that. At the lightest in the series the new T5+ functions the most like straight extensions adding just a slight 15-degree bend for comfort on the ends. Each of the extensions is compatible with handlebars with a clamp diameter of 26. 0mm or 31. 8mm.
