Pret Helmets Cynic X Helmet

Deceivingly simple, yet stuffed with the latest impact protection, the Pret Cynic X Helmet places MIPS technology into a cleanly styled, minimalist design. Standing for Multi-Direction Impact Protection System, MIPS uses an elastomeric liner that dissipates rotational forces resulting from angled crashes on the mountain. MIPS achieves this lofty feat by allowing the helmet to rotate independently around your noggin, subsequently reducing the rotational forces translated through the helmet. The Cynic X's lightweight and low-profile design is courtesy of In-Mold construction, which fuses a rugged polycarbonate shell directly to the impact-absorbing foam inside. Besides being a relatively lightweight helmet, the Cynic X features a cozy liner of wool-blended fabric, which boasts high levels of warmth, as well as quick-drying and anti-odor properties. It's finished with an RCS fit system that fine-tunes the helmet's fit with the spin of its dial, audio-compatible earpads, and VTT1 ventilation ports for thermo-regulation.
