This means that the molecules, which make up the soft padding, slightly repel each other under normal wear. Upon impact, they instantly bind and redistribute impact force to reduce injury. Once the energy from the impact is gone, the material once again becomes soft and pliable. They are form fitting with an articulated design to provide freedom of movement.
