Evil Bikes The Insurgent GX Eagle Mountain Bike

We're not sure if the trail obstacles become smaller or if it's because they're scared while we're aboard the Evil Bikes Insurgent GX Eagle Mountain Bike. This big hitter of a bike has us making the ground take big hits while we seamlessly float over trail obstacles and features galore. The 151mm Insurgent is built up with some of the most dependable and durable components the industry has to offer, so we can be sure to hit park lap after lap without fear. Small features like the integrated chain guide, internal routing, and plenty of rubber protection have us hopping on The Insurgent ride after ride. Geometry on The Insurgent is what we'd expect from a modern enduro/trail bike, with a slacked out head tube, steep seat tube, long reach, and a long wheelbase it checks all the boxes for smashing trail. Already specced in what Evil calls the 'low' setting, riders can switch it up into 'X-low' for even more trail smashing goodness. In the low setting, the head-tube angle is a nice and slack 65. 6 paired with a 74. 3 seat-tube angle for all sorts of rowdy trail fun. The slack head-angle invites us to send it deep while the steep seat-tube angle makes grinding up fire roads less of a chore. The modern 433mm reach(size large) makes this bike ultra playful in the chunder and stable on the straights, so we're picking new lines every lap and finding more fun than ever. Spec on the Insurgent was chosen like our local pro themselves wanted to build a bombproof and burley as all bike for park days. Fitted with Rockshox suspension, the build is as capable as it sounds with a Lyrik taking care of the hits upfront and the Rockshox Monarch Plus RC3 soaking up every case we can find in the rear.
