CIRQ Vincente Wayfarer Sunglasses

The Vincente is named after one of one of our favorite trail runs in Big Sur. Just a 2 hour drive from our San Luis Obispo HQ. The Vincente trail starts at the ocean off of hwy 1 and climbs 11 miles to the summit of Cone Peak at 5,155ft. Whether you embark on an Overton office favorite challenge, such as from city to summit and back in one day, or you choose to take your time with a multi day hike, camping halfway at the Vincente Flats campground, the Vincente Wayfarer will be the perfect choice for your trip. The Vincente is a classic Wayfarer silhouette with a performance twist, these glasses are at home in the city but perform on the trails. To meet our performance requirements, we sat down with an All-American runner to learn about what is required for performance eyewear. With his guidance we have upgraded the classic Wayfarer style to have all the necessary performance qualities of a top of the line running sunglass, fit for a champion. Lightweight and durable:Starting with the frame, we use an injection molded TR90 polymer, this material allows us to create a lightweight frame, weighing in at only 29g, that is incredibly durable and shatter resistant due to its ability to bend under pressure. This top grade material has impeccable shape memory, keeping a consistent fit for years. Secure non-slip fit:Next we incorporated an adjustable non-slip rubber nose pad. A wire core in the nose pad allows for a custom fit, that can be squeezed tight or let loose depending on nose shape and fit preference. We then added the same non-slip rubber compound around your ears to ensure the glasses stay in place when the tempo increases. Airflow and sweat management:We designed to adjustable nose piece to hold the glasses slightly off the face. This maximizes airflow, and limits the classic fog-up problem by allowing sweat to fall off the face rather than pooling inside the glasses. Lens Performance:The CR39 lenses are durable, high quality lenses that provide 100% UVA/UVB protection. Lens color and tint were selected to provide clarity and sharpness on the trail.
