There was a time when BBRight ruled here at Competitive, and while there was a bit of a hiatus, we're pleased as punch to be back ontop of Cervelo's elite machines again, and the R2 Road Frameset just begs for us to dream up the perfect build, and take to the tarmac. The performance-driven designs we've seen from Cervelo haven't taken a break, ensuring its sponsored racers on the World Tour Team Sunweb -- and you -- have the ability to soar forward with a balance that tickles the boarders between speed and comfort. Cervelo is never one to rest on its laurels and constantly scrutinizes materials, shapes, and layups in an effort to boost stiffness, improve ride quality, and drop grams. Compared to previous generation R2s, this version is 12 percent stiffer at the head tube and has a 10 percent increase in fork lateral sti...
