Hot Wheels Stealth Rides: The Small Yet Mighty RC Car

The history of radio control (R/C or just called RC) toys may be traced back to the late nineteenth century when Nikola Tesla demonstrated a circuits-controlled boat throughout an exhibition at the Madison Square Garden. Over a century later, in 1960s to be even more specific, an Italian manufacturer from Reggio Emilia began to promote and market RC cars at Milan Toy Fair. At about the same time, Mattel launched the first revolutionary die-cast toy cars, the Hot Wheels into the marketplace to compete towards U.K.-based Lesney with its Matchbox cars. In comparison with its competitor Hot Wheels cars have low friction wheels that show fantastically well in small path racing.

Renowned for its details, tiny scale and being licensed by reputable car makers e.g. General Motors, Ford Motor Company and Chrysler, Hot Wheels keep on to be favorite die-cast toy cars for enthusiasts across the world. Over the following years, Mattel released lines of Hot Wheels cars that includes popular vehicles including Custom Camaro and Volkswagen. The company in addition develops Hot Wheels' tires, paint and efficiency to cut back friction and increase speed, amongst others. In this 2010, Mattel releases its recent invented RC vehicles which is called Hot Wheels Stealth Rides that are available in several types namely Stealth Rides Racing Car, Stealth Rides Power Tread and Stealth Rides Batmobile Tumbler.

Being the first collapsible radio control Toys that Mattel has ever manufactured, makes Stealth Rides unusual. Each of the vehicles could be folded and tucked into their slim cases, which also work as infrared remote controls. The vehicles folds flatly and transform into totally functioning RC through the push of a button. When you unveil the bundle, no need to charge the car -it comes with ready-to-use AG13 (LF44) batteries. All Hot Wheels Stealth Rides transform into 3D vehicle simply through a single push and they just ride.

At a value of about lower than $25, these tiny but mighty toys would surely bring the racing track pleasure to any living room. Children ages eight and over will take pleasure in playing with the Hot Wheels Stealth Rides indoor. The vehicles include extra batteries and directions, and the infrared channel settings allow participants to set different channels throughout multiplayer racing. Being mini RC vehicles which are strong, easy-to-assembly, quick, foldable and lightweight, the portable Hot Wheels Stealth Rides are must-have things for any Hot Wheels collector this holiday.
